Tips For DGCA Pilot Exams.

Pilot Training in India is an easy process with the exception of the tests one needs to pass. 

DGCA, the approved association to lead pilot training tests in India, is strict in maintaining the quality of cadets, thus tests are made intensive.

Technical Specific

You just need answers to a question bank of 200 to 300 in total, to pass. 

Remember to memorise the questions and answers completely and exactly, as you may see very similar answers in the alternative options.

Air regulations

This subject consists of national and international law regarding aviation, standard operation procedures and emergency procedures. You will learn them and be given trial exams.

Technical General and Air navigation.

Technical general consists of mechanical and electrical systems of aircrafts. Air navigation deals with safe navigation of aircraft, calculations associated with it, instruments to be used, etc. It is better to prepare for these one at a time and prepare fully using the study materials provided, we have a large number of trial exams to enable you to crack the exams on your first attempt.

RTR Aero (Radio Telephony)

Communication skills arevessential for cracking the first part. You have to communicate using RT language in real-time and show your proficiency in it. The more experience you have in flying and real RT, the better. You can also use wireless handsets and practice with the help of our instructors, who have already done the exam. You need a good knowledge of technical, navigation, meteorology and air regulations to pass the interview session. In short, you must be well prepared and knowledgeable to crack RT exam.

What is a ground class?

In ground classes, students have a chance to hear a lecture from the instructor and engage with other students. This may include class or small group discussions. In regards to assignments given in a ground class, students may have individual or group written assignments.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

A wise pilot knows that a strong ground is mandatory to make an effortless take off. A pilot is expected to be judicious. That’s where the Pilot Ground School makes all the difference. A sensible pilot will always study first and complete exams, then move on to flying. The Pilot Training is a critical choice to make. It is often said that anybody can fly; it’s the ground subjects which define a pilot, and demand dedication and focus.

When you talk to any experienced pilot for their guidance, most will tell you to do your ground studies first and then go on and do the flying training. DGCA allows 30 months to pass the ground school subjects for which it conducts the quarterly exams in the months of April, July, October and January.

We provide you just the right launch pad to take off to your pilot career. A team of experienced pilots who specialize in their subjects are there to prepare you to pass the  exams in the shortest possible time. Once you have passed the ground subjects, the required flying training of minimum 200 hours can be completed in barely around 6 months.

ELIGIBILITY

10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics. (If you don’t have Physics & Math in 10+2 you have an option of doing these two subjects from National Institute of Open Schooling’s On-Demand Examinations.

A Class II Medical (Indian) with fitness certificate from designated medical practitioner.Please note for issue of CPL License Class I Medical would be necessary.

At least 16 years of age to start pilot training. Vision in one eye must be perfect. (6/6 eyesight) In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.

Course Description

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) examination is the first step pilot aspirants should take before they start off flying training. Once the candidates registers with us, they get unlimited counseling sessions as we help them get their Computer Number and further guide them to choose the right flight school to complete the requirements of flying training. The duration of full course will be 12-24 months depending on a lot of variable factors. After completion of the course, we will make sure the candidates finish the exam on time by giving plenty of test experiences to prepare well for the main exam. The study material required for the preparation will be provided by the academy.

Computer Number

Computer number is required to each candidate in order to appear for the airmen examination in DGCA and to obtain an Indian DGCA license. Computer number is simply a way to create a file with all your details which are to be approved by DGCA for a individual record of a candidate.

What Is Computer Number ?

Computer Number is your unique identity available with Central Examination Organisation (CEO), Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for appearing in all pilot examinations. Candidates must apply for Computer Number as soon as they receive the mark sheet / Pass certificate, plus verifications of these certificates from their respective education boards. It will be desirable for you to have your Computer Number allotted by DGCA before joining the school, as this would facilitate future processes with relative ease. Once a candidate registers with us for Ground Classes of all the subjects, we provide complete assistance in applying and for the issuance of DGCA computer number.

Log on to Pariksha

Visit https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in Press ‘New Candidate Registration’ and read ‘INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES-FLIGHT CREW’

Filling the form

Fill up the form with your personal details as per your documents along with a valid email ID and mobile number. Finish filling up the form followed by entering the OTP received on your mobile number.

Password generation

Sign in to your registered email ID to see your temperory computer number and follow the link from pariksha to generate your password.

Candidate login

Visit https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in/home and select ‘Candidate Login’. Sign in with your credentials. Enter your address, fill up your educational qualification and upload the supporting documents. Finally review the details and documents and the submit the application.

Submitting the hard copy

Login to your email ID to find your application form. Take a print out and attach your picture to it and send it to the following address within 10days of submission.
