CPL Requirements

To attain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Total Flight Time: Minimum of 200 hours, including 100 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) with 20 hours cross-country.
  • Flight Training: 65 hours in total, including: 35 hours of dual instruction.
  • 10 hours of advanced dual instruction (at least 5 hours cross-country). 20 hours of instrument time.
  • 5 hours of dual night instruction.
  • 30 hours of solo flight time, including: 25 hours of general practice, airwork, and radio communication.
  • 5 hours of solo night flight.
  • Cross-country flight covering at least 300 nautical miles with landings at three different airports.
  • Ground School Requirements Total Ground School Hours: Minimum of 40 hours.

Final Assessment

Examinations:

Written test.

Flight test conducted by Transport United States.
